From first glance these flat, laminated raffia flare hat bodies look utterly sweet, but we recon they would make the coolest hats blocked out into boaters or another structured shape! 

They date roughly to the 1970's and are made from shiny laminated raffia strands that have been crochet into a a flat hat flare. A b it of steam will open this shape up and have you blocking in no time!
